Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to bridge development and operations for Securities Finance Trading applications. The role focuses on improving CI/CD pipelines, automation, and operational readiness across Windows/Linux environments, databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL, and modern tooling such as Kubernetes and Kafka.

You will collaborate with traders, operations and tech teams to ensure reliable production services, proactive monitoring and incident resolution in a hybrid work setup

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational tooling.
• Strong automation skills including PowerShell and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between developers, operations, and business stakeholders for production readiness and supportability.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements and release automation.
• Serve as senior escalation point for incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate and support the application infrastructure stack, including environments, databases, and security remediation.
• Enhance monitoring and performance management to reduce service disruptions.
