Zusammenfassung

BEC Financial Technologies is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to drive test automation across APIs, backend services (Java) and UI (Angular) in a cross-site team based in Denmark and Poland.

You will own automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD, and ensure high-quality, real-time payment processing for SEPA Instant, STEP2 and related systems.

Fluency in English and ISTQB foundation or equivalent is required; experience with Playwright/Cypress/REST Assured is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Strong experience with test automation in modern systems.
• Experience testing APIs and backend services (REST and messaging).
• Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, or similar.
• Experience testing web applications, preferably Angular-based UIs.
• Knowledge of MQ and message-based integrations.
• CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting with logs/data.
• Good collaboration across development, QA, and business analysis.
• Fluency in English.

Aufgaben

• Test automation ownership: Drive the test automation agenda.
• Automation development: Design, implement, and maintain automated tests across APIs, backend services (Java), and UI (Angular).
• End-to-end testing: Ensure quality across complex payment flows (real-time and batch).
• Message-based testing: Validate ISO 20022 payment messages and MQ integrations.
• Quality advocacy: Promote quality best practices and QA mindset.
• Collaboration: Work with developers to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Defect analysis: Investigate defects using logs and system data.
• Continuous improvement: Improve frameworks, tooling, and ways of working.
