Job summary

Klient Just Join IT is seeking an experienced Senior Data Product Owner to drive the evolution of our central Data Ecosystem. You will bridge business strategy, data engineering, and ML, owning the data platform roadmap across our global e-commerce operations.

The role requires 4+ years in a PO role focused on data platforms, strong data modeling, and agile practices, with Jira/Confluence. Hybrid Wroclaw office visits a few times a month or remote work available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of PO experience focusing on Data Platforms or Analytics.
• Strong data modeling, data flow, and modern enterprise data architectures.
• Proficient with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Jira/Confluence.
• Excellent English communication for technical and business leadership.
• Proven track record managing cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic roadmap and align with business goals.
• Own and prioritize platform backlog for data platform.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, BI analysts, and other POs.
• Promote cloud data practices (Databricks) ensuring data quality and governance.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Product Owner to drive the evolution of our central Data Ecosystem. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business strategy, modern data engineering, and machine learning. You’ll take ownership of our data platform roadmap, empowering cross-functional teams to leverage high-quality, scalable, and actionable data across our global e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Roadmap & Vision: Shape, maintain, and execute the product vision for our Data Platform, aligning technical capabilities with core business goals.
• Agile Execution: Own and prioritize the platform backlog, ensuring consistent delivery of high-value features in a fast-paced iterative environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with ML engineers, Business Analysts, and fellow POs to translate complex business needs into technical data requirements.
• Data Excellence & Adoption: Promote modern cloud data practices (including Cloud Lakehouse/Databricks), ensuring high standards for data quality, accessibility, and governance across the org.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the strategic partner and primary contact for stakeholders regarding data products, architecture scaling, and platform evolution.
• Balanced Delivery: Successfully balance immediate operational requirements with robust, long-term data architecture scalability.

What We Are Looking For:

Core Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in a Product Owner role with a strong focus on Data Platforms, Data Engineering, or Analytics products.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, data flow, and modern enterprise data architectures.
• Hands-on expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) and tools like Jira & Confluence.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong communication skills tailored for both technical teams and business leadership.
• Proven track record of managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Practical experience or familiarity with Cloud Lakehouse architecture (especially Databricks).
• Prior experience in the e-commerce sector handling large-scale consumer data.
• Understanding of Data Governance, compliance standards, and data security frameworks.
