Job summary

LHH is recruiting a Technical Product Owner for customer portal and central services on behalf of our client, a global industrial group investing in digital platforms. You will coordinate delivery across product management, IT architects, and development teams, owning backlog and translating requirements into actionable tasks.

You will ensure production-ready releases, collaborate on customer authentication, notifications, consent management, and API integrations, while maintaining alignment

Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar software delivery role.
• Proven backlog and agile backlog management skills.
• Experience with web apps, customer portals, SaaS or digital services.

Responsibilities

• Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog for customer-facing platforms and central services.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, specs, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate internal and external software development teams, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Manage delivery priorities, dependencies, and day-to-day scope within business objectives.
• Act as main liaison between Product Management, BI/Analysts, IT Architects, and development teams.
• Validate completed stories and ensure alignment with requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate testing, release readiness, and production deployment of new features.
• Support development of shared digital services including registration, authentication, notifications, and API integrations.
• Ensure solutions comply with architecture, security, and data protection standards.
• Identify risks and elevate budget-related decisions when needed.
• Drive continuous improvements based on user feedback and service performance.

About the project

• We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of customer-facing digital platforms and shared cloud-based services.
• The role acts as the key link between Product Management, business stakeholders, IT Architects, and internal or external development teams.
• The Product Owner takes responsibility for the entire delivery process, from backlog refinement and user stories through sprint execution, testing, acceptance, and production readiness.
• This is not a Cloud Engineering or infrastructure ownership role. The focus is on software delivery, backlog ownership, translating business requirements into actionable development tasks, and ensuring high-quality digital solutions.
• The Product Manager defines the product strategy and business priorities, while the Product Owner manages the detailed backlog, delivery scope, and execution.

Your responsibilities

Our requirements

• Experience as a Technical Product Owner, Digital Product Owner, Software Product Owner, or in a similar software delivery role.
• Proven experience managing product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and Agile development processes.
• Experience working directly with software development teams delivering web applications, customer portals, SaaS products, or digital services.
• Good understanding of APIs, enterprise integrations, and cloud-based application architecture.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear, actionable development tasks.
• Experience coordinating software delivery across business, architecture, and engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Experience in testing, functional acceptance, and production release coordination.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Professional English proficiency.
