Job summary

Astek is seeking a Senior Data Analyst / Data Product Owner in Poland to translate data into strategic business insights. The role requires strong SQL and cloud data platform experience (BigQuery) and proficiency with BI tools (Looker, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau or Qlik).

You will own analytical initiatives end-to-end, define KPIs, and communicate findings across stakeholders while shaping data products aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

Position

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Data Analyst / Data Product Owner for our client from the Business Services industry.

Offered salary

Salary: from 130 to 165 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences.

You’re ideal for this role if you:

• Have solid experience in data analytics and can translate complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Have strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data platforms.
• Are proficient in BI tools such as Looker, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Understand business needs and can translate ambiguous challenges into clearly defined analytical use cases and Data Products.
• Have experience defining KPIs, success metrics, and measuring the business impact of data-driven initiatives.
• Combine strong analytical skills with a product mindset and a business-oriented approach.
• Are comfortable working with stakeholders across different business functions and organizational levels.
• Can gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications for data and BI teams.
• Have experience managing analytical initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and requirements gathering to implementation and continuous improvement.
• Can prioritize competing business needs and independently manage multiple initiatives.
• Are proactive, curious, and skilled at identifying root causes rather than simply responding to requests.
• Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have:

• Experience as a Product Analyst, Analytics Product Owner, Data Product Owner, or BI Consultant.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, or product discovery methodologies.
• Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or process automation projects.
• Experience working in large organizations with multiple business stakeholders.
