Job summary

Corning Inc. in Poland seeks an experienced Product Design Engineer to drive the design and development of new products within international project teams. You will adapt existing products to meet customer needs and contribute across the full product lifecycle, from concept to qualification.

The role requires a higher education degree in a related field, 5 years' experience, proficiency in 3D CAD (PTC Creo preferred), and strong analytical and collaboration skills in a global environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in product design and development.
• Fluent English and Polish; Chinese will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of sheet metal forming and plastic injection molding processes.
• Experience in leading 3D CAD environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design of new products within international project teams.
• Adapt existing products to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in full product development cycle (definition, concept, prototype, validation, implementation).
• Model and simulate proposed solutions.
• Create technical documentation (3D and 2D).
• Introduce new products into manufacturing process.
• Report project status per organizational requirements.
• Create technical reports and generate patent applications.
• Present solutions to internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with other departments and support other project teams.
• Coordinate tests for full product qualification.
