Job summary

Corning Inc. in Poland seeks a design engineer to join international design groups, shaping new products and adapting existing ones for production. You will collaborate with development and product engineers to bring designs to life on the factory floor.

The role requires CAD proficiency (Creo/SolidWorks/Inventor), GD&T know-how, and 3 years of related experience, with fluent English for cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• Higher education in mechanics/mechatronics or related field
• Knowledge of CAD tools such as PTC CREO Parametric, SolidWorks, Inventor
• Understanding of documentation principles and GD&T
• Knowledge of mechanics, strength of materials, and FEM analysis
• Knowledge of machine design and precision mechanics
• 3 years of experience in a related role
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Design of new products and adaptation of existing products in international design groups
• Collaborate with development and product engineers to implement products into production
• Design machinery and equipment supporting the production process
• Implement modern design solutions (e.g., AR) for design processes and client communication
• Develop prototypes and present ideas
• Support other departments in project collaboration
