Job summary

Corning is seeking an Innovation Project Team Manager for Optical Connectivity Solutions in Poland. The role leads a team of project leaders across local and remote sites, driving on-time delivery of new products, cost savings, and capability development.

You will be accountable for project cost, schedule, and technical performance within a dynamic, global organization. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in product development or project management, strong leadership, and proven collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree – Engineering.
• 7+ years in Product Development and/or Project Management, and/or Engineering Leadership.
• Ability to teach project leadership skills: Communication; Planning; Budgeting; Ownership; Team building; Business Acumen; Risk Management; Critical decision making; Conflict resolution.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong judgement and decision making, even in stressful situations.
• Communicates effectively in Polish and in English with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of project leaders in delivering projects.
• Prioritize and assign projects to meet business objectives.
• Manage team performance and address gaps.
• Coach project leaders in PM skills, leadership, processes, teamwork, and change management.
• Ensure project plans and status are communicated to the organization.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality of projects.
• Maintain documentation to protect Corning IP and ISO registrations.
• Recruit, select and onboard new project leaders.
• Lead regular project reviews with senior OCS leadership.
