Job summary

Allegro in Warsaw seeks a seasoned procurement professional to own indirect categories, focusing on warehousing equipment and logistics. You will drive strategic sourcing, negotiate terms with global vendors, and partner with internal teams to meet complex business needs.

You will analyze spend, optimize costs, manage supplier performance, and ensure contract compliance, while collaborating across functions in a hybrid work environment. Fluency in Polish and English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in indirect procurement, focused on Warehousing Equipment or Logistics.
• Proven track record negotiating with domestic and international vendors.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Owning key categories: Managing and strategically developing procurement categories: Warehousing Equipment, various Logistics Services and Real Estate
• Driving strategy: Co-creating and executing innovative sourcing strategies for assigned logistics spend
• Leading negotiations: Conducting RFI and RFP processes, negotiating commercial terms, and overseeing contract reconciliation
• Business partnering: Collaborating closely with internal business areas to understand, anticipate, and fulfill their needs
• Optimizing costs: Analyzing spend data to identify high-impact cost savings and process improvement opportunities
• Supplier management: Conducting cyclical performance evaluations to ensure top-tier collaboration with vendors
• Ensuring compliance: Coordinating with the Legal Department to secure smooth and compliant contract finalizations
• Tracking success: Monitoring project milestones and maintaining crucial procurement KPIs

This is the right job for you if you:

• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in indirect procurement, specifically focusing on Warehousing Equipment or Logistics
• Boasts a proven track record of strategic category management and successful negotiations with both domestic and international vendors (covering financial, legal, and business aspects)
• Are highly analytical, proactive and assertive, with a natural drive to turn challenges into solutions
• Possess excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, thriving in cross-functional collaborations
• Are highly adaptable, comfortable navigating new situations and fast-changing internal/external conditions
• Demonstrate high communication and advanced presentation skills in both Polish and English
• Knowledge of the Czech language will be a strong added advantage
