Job summary

Nordea Bank Abp Poland is seeking a Senior/Process Specialist to manage settlement of securities and related inquiries for Norwegian clients. You will join the Securities Settlement NO team in a back-office role supporting global custody services and market activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration, ownership, and proactive risk management within a hybrid work environment. Fluency in English and a related degree are preferred; AI tools experience is a plus.

About our team

Meet the Securities Settlement NO team. Our main responsibility is settlement of all securities related products (equities and fixed income) in the role of back-office for Nordea Markets and providing global custody services in all major financial markets in the world, i.e. clearing, settlement and safekeeping of domestic and foreign securities for clients in Norway.

Main responsibilities in this role:

• Daily settlement of securities traded by Norwegian clients on domestic and global markets
• Investigating, amending and matching transactions that have not settled automatically
• Supporting internal or external stakeholders regarding securities settlement queries
• Taking part in various projects (regarding both market mandatory requirements as well as internal process changes)

Who you are

• Pro‑active approach to ensure that risk issues (both current and emerging) are escalated promptly to managers
• Positive attitude towards working in a group of people

Your background and skills include:

• Fluent English (both spoken and written)
• Finance, economics or mathematics related university degree or equivalent professional experience will be an asset

It would be ideal if you also have:

• Experience in improving tasks/processes
• Experience in working with AI tools
