Job summary

Nordea Bank Abp in Poland seeks a Backend Developer for Savings and Investment Product & Retail Order Management Technology Service Domain. You will design, develop, and maintain Java applications that support our savings and investments products, and contribute to robust calculation engines.

Qualifications

About Our Team

Our role is to develop Investment Funds trading systems integrated with external Trading Agencies partners.

Main responsibilities in this role
  • Design, develop and maintain Java applications supporting our savings and investments products
  • Build robust calculation engines that ensure compliance with current tax regulations across multiple countries
  • Develop support for complex business processes, integrating with tax authorities, and generating customer facing reports
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate with financial analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
Who You Are

This is the right role for you if you have hands on attitude, are highly motivated, ready for challenges and intensive work.

Your background and skills include
  • Good communication skills (good English is a must)
  • Java 21, Spring Boot, Postgres SQL, Messaging protocols such as Kafka, JMS, MQ etc.
  • Strong proficiency in Java 21+ and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Knowledge of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for producing and consuming data
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles
  • It would be ideal if you also have a knowledge about Airflow and Python experience
