Job summary

Factor in Wroclaw seeks a Senior Manager/Clinical Trial Subject Matter Expert to deliver complex pharmaceutical manufacturing contracts for a global pharma client. You will lead negotiations, manage risk assessments, and drive process improvements across regions.

The role requires extensive experience in pharma contracts, AI-enabled tooling, and strong stakeholder management to ensure compliance and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in Poland.
• Qualified lawyer or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of legal experience in pharma manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and supply chain contracts.
• Expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing agreements (DS/DP development, tech transfer, supply, device development, logistics).
• Strong understanding of international supply chain contracting, IP in pharma manufacturing, and risk allocation.
• Experience collaborating with Legal, Procurement, and business stakeholders globally.
• Ability to lead process improvement and operational transformation initiatives.
• Experience leveraging data and AI tools to improve contracting outcomes.
• Strong business acumen and performance metrics understanding.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Autonomy, prioritization, and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in contract lifecycle management systems (Icertis).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex pharmaceutical manufacturing and manufacturing-related agreements (CTA's, supply, transfer, etc.).
• Act as senior escalation point for high-risk or complex contractual matters.
• Provide structured contract analysis and risk assessments.
• Ensure alignment with client policies, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Lead initiatives to refine legal review triggers and reduce unnecessary involvement.
• Analyse contracting data to identify patterns, optimise templates, and reduce escalations.
• Drive standardisation of clauses and fallback positions for consistency.
• Enhance contract reporting dashboards and regional performance metrics.
• Identify structural improvements to reduce time-to-contract and improve lifecycle management.
• Champion adoption of AI-enabled contracting tools.
• Partner with tech/CRU/R&D teams to develop AI-enabled solutions.
• Translate AI insights into practical guidance and scalable strategies.
• Promote data-driven decision-making across stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with Legal/Procurement/R&D/Tech Ops/QA/Insurance/Privacy stakeholders.
• Position Factor as a trusted contracting partner.
• Lead communication during resourcing changes and process transitions.
• Support business reviews with data-backed insights.
• Coach and develop junior legal professionals; create guidance materials.
