Job summary

ARCHE Consulting is seeking an experienced payroll accounting specialist to join our international finance team in Warsaw. The role focuses on accurate payroll data review across countries, reconciling with accounting entries and external providers, and ensuring timely month-end close.

You will collaborate with tax advisors, auditors, and cross-functional teams to deliver precise payroll reports and support financial processes in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll accounting or payroll reconciliation or working for a payroll service provider.
• Experience with payroll data and accounting processes.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Strong communication across departments and countries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
• Good command of English for an international environment.
• Experience with B2B cooperation and international finance environment.

Job description

• Review payroll data from different countries, including base salaries, bonuses and severance payments, to ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile payroll data with accounting entries provided by external payroll providers.
• Reconcile payroll and employee liability accounts with bank data and vendor records.
• Support the month-end closing process and other regular accounting activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, account reconciliations and schedules.
• Handle intercompany transactions and prepare the necessary reports and reconciliations.
• Work with external tax advisors and auditors on tax filings and audits.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and timely processes.
• Prepare reports, analyses and data for senior management and other departments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll accounting, payroll reconciliation or working for a payroll service provider.
• Experience working with payroll and accounting data and a good understanding of payroll processes.
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility and make decisions in day-to-day matters.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people from different departments and countries.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, especially Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and SUMIFS.
