Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking Senior Software Engineers specializing in Observability to design and own scalable logging, metrics, and tracing platforms. You will operate high-throughput telemetry pipelines and tackle scale challenges across GPU clusters and petabyte-scale data.

You will collaborate across teams, implement platform-as-a-product mindset, and contribute to the observability strategy while participating in on-call rotations to ensure reliability and performance of critical production

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software or infra engineering for large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficient in Go or Python, with production-ready code experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes in production with microservices and observability focus.
• Strong track record delivering robust, scalable systems with high-quality testing.
• Ability to decompose complex problems in elastic architectures and plan work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own observability infrastructure including logging, metrics, and tracing platforms.
• Develop and operate high-throughput telemetry pipelines for data ingest and transformation.
• Address observability at scale for clusters with GPUs, large telemetry volumes, and high-cardinality workloads.
• Continuously improve performance, security, reliability, and scalability of observability services.
• Participate in on-call rotations to diagnose production issues and implement durable fixes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, adopting a platform-as-a-product mindset for observability tooling.
• Contribute to the overall observability strategy and platform direction.
