Job summary

Leica Geosystems AG's Comernal Software seeks an experienced Mobile Software Engineer to build next-generation mobile apps for Reality Capture and geospatial workflows. The role is based in Katowice with a hybrid work model, offering collaboration with international engineering teams in a globally recognised technology company.

You will design and implement high-quality iOS and Android applications, optimize performance, and contribute to automated testing, CI/CD, and cross-functional product

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile software development.
• Experience developing iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose).
• Good understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Build modern, scalable, and maintainable software architectures.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, QA engineers, and backend teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Integrate mobile applications with cloud services, APIs, and connected hardware devices.
• Participate in software design, implementation, testing, and deployment activities throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Analyze user requirements and transform them into reliable software solutions.
• Optimize mobile applications for performance, stability, battery consumption, and user experience.
• Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.
• Continuously improve development processes, coding standards, and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with international teams in an agile environment.
