Job summary

Housecall Pro is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to craft native iOS and Android experiences. You will collaborate with product and engineering, shaping architecture, and delivering high-quality mobile solutions that drive customer value.

You will lead and participate in architectural reviews, optimize performance, and advocate for best practices while staying current with platform capabilities. Role is based in Poland, with compensation noted for monthly B2B terms and CET hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience developing commercial mobile apps on iOS, Android, or both
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field or equivalent work experience
• Advanced experience with native mobile development tech, including Swift and Kotlin
• Experience with Objective-C for iOS and/or Java for Android is a plus
• Experience with native mobile frameworks, architectures, and best practices
• Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs and back-end services
• Proficient in Git and modern mobile software development workflows
• Experience contributing to code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical guidance
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows or outputs

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy features across core iOS and Android apps
• Lead code reviews and architectural reviews for mobile features
• Ensure performance, quality, stability, and responsiveness of apps
• Collaborate with product management to refine concepts and deliver value
• Execute high-velocity, high-performance experiments and A/B tests
• Strengthen mobile engineering practices and stay current with tech
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and defects
• Maintain code quality standards and promote best practices
• Introduce architectural improvements for scalability and maintainability
• Write and maintain automated tests at appropriate architectural levels
