Job summary

Leica Geosystems AG — Comernal Software, part of Hexagon, seeks a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to drive mobile app development for Reality Capture and geospatial workflows. You will design for iOS and Android, collaborate with product, UX, QA and backend teams, and contribute to end-to-end product delivery.

The role emphasizes scalable architectures, automated testing, and performance optimization, with a hybrid work model based in Katowice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional mobile software development experience.
• Experience developing for iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and/or Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose).
• Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and cloud-based services.
• Experience with automated testing and QA practices.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Build modern, scalable, and maintainable software architectures.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, QA engineers, and backend teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Integrate mobile applications with cloud services, APIs, and connected hardware devices.
• Participate in software design, implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into reliable software solutions.
• Optimize mobile applications for performance, stability, battery consumption, and user experience.
• Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.
• Continuously improve development processes, coding standards, and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with international teams in an agile environment.
