Job summary
Leica Geosystems AG — Comernal Software, part of Hexagon, seeks a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to drive mobile app development for Reality Capture and geospatial workflows. Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional mobile software development experience.
- Experience developing for iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and/or Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose).
- Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and cloud-based services.
- Experience with automated testing and QA practices.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows.

- Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.

- Strong experience developing applications for iOS (Swift, SwiftUI) and/or Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose).
- Good understanding of software architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection).
- Experience integrating REST APIs and cloud-based services.
- Knowledge of mobile application performance optimization and debugging techniques.
- Experience with automated testing and quality assurance practices.
- Familiarity with Git-based development workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Good English language skills required for working in multinational teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Reality Capture, 3D visualization, GIS, mapping, or geospatial applications.
- Experience working with connected hardware devices such as scanners, sensors, cameras.
- Experience with offline-first mobile applications and data synchronization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Experience with C++ integration in mobile applications (objc).
- Knowledge of camera, AR, LiDAR, or computer vision technologies.
