Job summary

HCLTech in Poland is seeking a Senior MicroStrategy BI Developer to architect, optimize, and enhance advanced BI solutions for enterprise clients. You will ensure high‑performance data environments, support migrations, and deliver actionable insights while mentoring development teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced MicroStrategy development including dashboard/report creation and schema design.
• Strong SQL optimization, data modeling, and performance analysis.
• Experience with BI asset migration, conversion projects, and post-migration stabilization.
• Experience with Python or scripting for automation and integration tasks.
• Ability to mentor and lead development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex MicroStrategy schemas, dashboards, and reports.
• Execute advanced query and object performance tuning to optimize BI solutions for speed and reliability.
• Oversee end-to-end migration and conversion of BI assets, including stabilization and performance remediation.
• Collaborate with architects and system administrators to address environment constraints and ensure seamless integration.
• Support the integration of APIs and automation tools to enhance data workflows and reporting capabilities.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Develop and maintain reusable migration scripts, technical design documentation, and performance checklists.
• Lead peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the BI development team.
