Job summary

Newmark Management Consulting seeks an experienced IT Administrator to manage Microsoft 365 services and user access, support Windows Server environments, and assist with onboarding and offboarding activities. You’ll work with Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Defender while ensuring compliance and robust incident response.

Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in identity lifecycle management, backup testing, and producing clear operational documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, and user support scenarios.
• Ability to troubleshoot escalated technical issues by analyzing symptoms, reviewing logs, validating configurations, and documenting resolutions.
• Experience supporting Windows endpoints, Intune, device compliance, and application deployment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for Helpdesk issues related to Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity access, email, collaboration tools, and cloud services.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, CoPilot, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and related admin portals.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve escalated incidents involving user access, mailbox behavior, Teams functionality, device compliance, conditional access, and security alerts.
• Prepare operational reporting for open escalations, license usage, asset inventory, backup test results, compliance exceptions, and recurring support trends.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and escalation notes for repeatable support processes.
