We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Sii Poland to lead mechanical design activities for automotive lighting products, driving development from design freeze to validation and industrialization. You will coordinate with international teams and ensure project success while upholding design principles and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in mechanical product development within the automotive industry.
• Led development activities from concept through industrialization, particularly in automotive lighting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials engineering, and physics fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with design validation and product testing processes.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and work independently.
• Fluent English communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading mechanical design activities for automotive lighting products, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Driving product development from design freeze through validation and industrialization phases, taking ownership of technical decisions.
• Supporting Design Validation (DV) activities, including design updates, technical investigations and issue resolution.
• Coordinating cross-functional cooperation with project management, testing, manufacturing, tooling and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
• Ensuring compliance with mechanical design principles, product requirements and quality standards throughout the development process.
• Participating in technical reviews, risk assessments and design change management to mitigate potential issues.
• Supporting product industrialization and manufacturing readiness activities, facilitating a smooth transition to production.
