Job summary

Valeo Lighting Systems in Chrzanów, Poland seeks a Thermal Simulation Engineer to advance high-fidelity CFD modeling for automotive lighting systems. You will run FloEFD and ANSYS Fluent simulations, analyze results, and provide design recommendations to cross-functional teams.

The role requires an engineer degree with thermal knowledge, experience in automotive/mechanical sectors, and fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• Engineer degree in a technical area with thermal knowledge.
• Experience in Automotive or Mechanical Industry.
• Fluent English and Polish.
• Basics in programming knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-fidelity CFD simulations in accordance with standards (FloEFD + ANSYS Fluent).
• Deliver comprehensive results packages with analysis and explanations of flow behavior.
• Translate thermal heat transfer on PCB and condensation into clear recommendations for design teams.
• Develop new simulation methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Draft and maintain SOPs and technical documentation for CFD workflows.
• Validate results against experimental data or analytical solutions.
