Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design activities for automotive lighting products. You will coordinate technical decisions and drive development from Design Validation through to industrialization, working with international engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.

The role requires deep expertise in mechanical design principles, materials engineering, and DV/testing, with strong English communication for collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in mechanical product development within automotive industry.
• Experience leading development from concept through industrialization in automotive lighting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and physics relevant to product design.
• Hands-on design validation and product testing experience ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities for automotive lighting products aligned with goals and timelines.
• Drive product development from design freeze through validation and industrialization, owning decisions.
• Support DV activities, including design updates, technical investigations and issue resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functional cooperation with project management, testing, manufacturing, tooling and other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with design principles, product requirements and quality standards throughout development.
• Participate in technical reviews, risk assessments and design change management.
• Support product industrialization and manufacturing readiness for production transfer.
