The role requires expertise in automotive electronic hardware design and strong collaboration skills. Responsibilities include leading mechanical design activities, ensuring compliance with EMC and ESD requirements, and working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of manufacturing technologies. The position offers relocation support and extended medical benefits.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Automotive Industry.
Experience in automotive electronic hardware design.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies: sheet metal, die casting, plastics.
Practical experience with GD&T.
Solid understanding of EMC and ESD design requirements.
Knowledge of thermal management and heat dissipation in electronic head units.
Strong written and spoken English.
Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret internal and customer requirements using Polarion and DOORS.
Lead mechanical design activities for computer products.
Cooperate closely with CAD designers and cross-functional teams.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and product performance through tolerance stack-up analysis.
Participate in creating Bill of Materials (BOM).
Support thermal design with focus on active cooling.
