Job summary

MPS - Multi Parts in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Project Engineer with an electrical focus to support our expanding product portfolio. You will collaborate with a global team of engineers across the U.S., Poland, and China to drive product development from concept to mass production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–3 years in product development or engineering roles; automotive experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrical design, testing methodologies, and automotive communication protocols (LIN, CAN).

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects to meet quality and timing targets.
  • Translate customer and product requirements into engineering specifications and documentation.
  • Lead development and validation of electrical components and systems, including design reviews and testing.
  • Develop verification plans, perform functional testing, analyze data, and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with product management, sourcing, quality, and supply chain to align milestones.
  • Identify technical risks, track issues, root cause, and implement corrective actions.
  • Interface with international teams and travel up to 5–10% for training or supplier visits.

Job description

MPS is seeking a Project Engineer with an electrical focus to support our expanding product portfolio in our Warsaw, Poland engineering office. This role will work closely with a global team of engineers across the U.S., Poland, and China to drive product development activities from early concept through mass production. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience supporting electrical product development and a strong interest in the automotive aftermarket.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects to meet quality and timing targets.
  • Collecting, interpreting, and translating customer and product requirements into clear engineering specifications and documentation.
  • Lead development and validation of electrical components and systems, with involvement in design review, testing, and manufacturability assessments.
  • Develop design verification plan, functional testing, data analysis, and issue resolution throughout the development cycle.
  • Work closely with product management, sourcing, quality, and supplier chain teams to maintain alignment on project deliverables and milestones.
  • Assist in identifying technical risks, tracking issues, root cause, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing engineers to understand production processes, resolve technical questions, and support cost‑effective design solutions.
  • Interface with international engineering teams and participate in occasional travel (up to 5 –10%) for training, supplier visits, or project support.
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks), PLM systems, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Understanding of electrical design, testing methodologies, automotive communication protocols (e.g. LIN, CAN) and problem‑solving tools (e.g. root‑cause analysis, DFMEA).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to project stakeholders.
  • Interest in automotive electrical systems, product design, and manufacturing processes.
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast‑paced global environment.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in product development or engineering roles; automotive experience preferred but not required.
