Job summary

Energizer Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior Market Demand Planner to own unconstrained demand forecasts (baseline and promotional) across multiple markets using SAP IBP.

You will be supported by Market Demand Planners in the same cluster and work with DP analysts to ensure accurate forecasts. Responsibilities

• Support senior Demand Planning Manager and DP analysts by sharing knowledge of historical events to filter future gains and cannibalization impacts.
• Challenge local Marketing & Sales on market intelligence to reach realistic forecasts.
• Provide promotional forecast and promotional display forecast.
• Provide information regarding distribution gains and losses.
• Provide information regarding new product launch forecast.
• Provide information regarding opportunities and risks.
• Maintain a closed monthly feedback loop with sales and marketing to improve MI forecasting.
• Collaborate with DP Analyst on forecast analysis and forecast error reports to improve accuracy.
• Collaborate on new product setup and forecast, cannibalization, promo analysis, code switches, and allocation under capacity constraints.
• Build the pack for pre-DMR & DMR and obtain sign-off from the Market Business Director.

Senior market demand planner has the responsibility of total unconstrained Demand forecast (baseline and promotional) in SAP-IBP tool for one Business Cluster (More than 1 Market) – He/she is supported by Market Demand Planners in the same cluster and works in close collaboration with Demand Planners Analyst too.

Reports to Senior Demand Planning Manager, international Modern Markets Scope

Key relationships include CS market leaders, Supply planning teams, others Associates DP Managers, DP analysts, marketing local leaders, key commercial directors.

Responsibilities

• To support senior Demand Planning Manager and DP analysts by collaborating and sharing knowledge of historical events to filter and future gains and/or cannibalization impacts.
• To challenge local Marketing & Sales departments about market intelligence, to get to a realistic forecast:
• promotional forecast
• promotional display forecast
• information regarding distribution gains and losses
• information regarding new product launch forecast
• information regarding opportunities and risks
• To analyze and support a closed feedback loop with sales and marketing monthly on market intelligence to ensure we take every opportunity to improve our MI forecasting.
• To collaborate with DP Analyst in analysis of forecasts and forecast error reports to improve forecast accuracy (net error and absolute error).
• Collaborate with DP Analyst on new product set up and forecast, a common understanding on cannibalization effects, promo analysis, code switches and product allocation in case of capacity constraints
• To build the pack for the pre-DMR & DMR and facilitate the meeting and obtain the sign off the forecast from the Market Business Director

Specific Accountabilities

• Ensure that the forecast requirements for co-packing and co-packaging are up to date in IBP.
• Follow up on market SLOBs process.
• To support the SKU rationalization process at a market level.
