Responsibilities

• Support Senior Demand Planning Manager and DP analysts with historical events and forecast impacts.
• Challenge Marketing & Sales on market intelligence to build realistic forecasts (promotion, display, distribution changes).
• Analyze and provide feedback with monthly market intelligence to improve MI forecasting.
• Collaborate with DP Analyst on forecast accuracy and forecast error reports.
• Work with DP Analyst on new product setup, cannibalization, promo analysis and capacity planning.
• Prepare pre-DMR/DMR pack and facilitate forecast sign-off with Market Business Director.
• Ensure co-packing and co-packaging forecast requirements are up to date in IBP.
• Follow up on market SLOBs process.
• Support SKU rationalization at market level

Position Summary

Senior market demand planner has the responsibility of total unconstrained Demand forecast (baseline and promotional) in SAP-IBP tool for one Business Cluster (More than 1 Market) – He/she is supported by Market Demand Planners in the same cluster and works in close collaboration with Demand Planners Analyst too.

Reports to Senior Demand Planning Manager, international Modern Markets Scope

Key relationships include CS market leaders, Supply planning teams, others Associates DP Managers, DP analysts, marketing local leaders, key commercial directors.

Responsibilities

• To support senior Demand Planning Manager and DP analysts by collaborating and sharing knowledge of historical events to filter and future gains and/or cannibalization impacts.
• To challenge local Marketing & Sales departments about market intelligence, to get to a realistic forecast: promotional forecast, promotional display forecast, information regarding distribution gains and losses, information regarding new product launch forecast, information regarding opportunities and risks.
• To analyze and support a closed feedback loop with sales and marketing monthly on market intelligence to ensure we take every opportunity to improve our MI forecasting.
• To collaborate with DP Analyst in analysis of forecasts and forecast error reports to improve forecast accuracy (net error and absolute error).
• Collaborate with DP Analyst on new product set up and forecast, a common understanding on cannibalization effects, promo analysis, code switches and product allocation in case of capacity constraints
• To build the pack for the pre-DMR & DMR and facilitate the meeting and obtain the sign off the forecast from the Market Business Director

Specific Accountabilities

• Ensure that the forecast requirements for co-packing and co-packaging are up to date in IBP.
• Follow up on market SLOBs process.
• To support the SKU rationalization process at a market level.

What we are looking for

Required Skills and Experience

• Be able to work with an international team remotely.
• Working knowledge of a Supply Chain (specific DP background better).
• Fluency in English.
• Strong IT skills i.e. Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• SAP-IBP / SAP knowledge desirable
• Education requirements (degree level educated)
• Very good communication skills
• Organizational skills to handle workflow and deadlines
