Job summary

Nordea in Warsaw seeks a market data analyst to support daily production, quality control, and distribution of market data across the bank. The role involves collaboration with Trading, IT, Risk, and Finance, and exposure to market data systems for valuation of financial instruments and derivatives.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a related field, has 3+ years in international finance, and demonstrates strong Excel and programming interest (SQL and Python).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, engineering, computer science or mathematics (or similar).
• 3+ years experience in an international financial organization (front/middle/back office).
• Strong interest in financial markets and valuation of instruments and derivatives.
• Excellent Excel skills; strong programming interest (SQL and Python).

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily production and control of the quality and distribution of market data.
• Analyze controls daily with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Contribute to development of market data systems and controls to increase efficiency.
• Stay updated on market trends to ensure effective use of market data within Nordea.
