Job summary
Yara is seeking a Logistics Procurement Manager for Eastern-Europe, focusing on Poland, with regional coverage for Germany, Poland and Hungary. You will lead sourcing, negotiations and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and resilient logistics solutions across road, warehousing and value-added services.
The role requires 5+ years in logistics procurement, strong analytics with SAP/SIEVO/Power BI, and experience in multi-country environments. Travel within the region is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, APICS) are advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years in logistics, transport procurement, or supply chain management.
Responsibilities
- Develop sourcing strategies for road transport, warehousing and value-added services.
- Lead regional RFQs, tenders and contract negotiations aligned with business needs.
- Analyze market trends, freight costs, capacity, and risks; report to stakeholders.
- Manage regional supplier panels and optimize logistics footprint in Eastern Europe.
- Negotiate terms, ensure compliance with contracts, and monitor savings targets.
- Utilize SAP/SIEVO/Power BI for decision making and SAP module readiness.
