Job summary

Luxoft in Poland is seeking an experienced Java Developer with advanced Apache Hadoop skills to join our engineering team. You will troubleshoot complex distributed systems, read and modify Hadoop source code, and contribute patches when needed.

You will work across development, platform engineering and CI/CD, automating deployment and configuration, and supporting the Hadoop installed base with modern tools such as Ansible, Kubernetes, Python and Terraform.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development skills.
• Advanced Apache Hadoop knowledge, beyond administration and usage.
• Ability to read, debug and modify Hadoop source code.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems.
• Strong Linux knowledge.
• Git and CI/CD experience.
• Highly relevant technologies: Ansible, Kubernetes, Python, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Istio.
