Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer who can also read Java code when needed. You will drive automation, deployment, and cloud operations in Azure, while working with Kubernetes, Unix systems, Shell/Bash, and Python to keep complex environments reliable and efficient.

The role combines backend understanding with hands-on operations, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration across projects. Experience with Terraform, ARM, and Git-based workflows is highly valued, and the team offers

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Java (8/11/17).
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment and monitoring.
• Strong background in DevOps practices: CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep ,or similar).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes for orchestration and scaling.
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems, Shell/Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of Python for automation and tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, ability to debug across distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep).
• Experience setting up monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor).

Responsibilities

Project Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who is also able to understand JAVA code if needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both modern frameworks and legacy technologies, while also driving automation, deployment, and cloud operations in Azure. In addition to backend development, this role requires solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Unix systems, Shell/Bash, and Python, as well as strong troubleshooting skills to quickly analyze and resolve issues in complex environments.
