Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager / PMO to lead strategic HR technology initiatives and oversee the HCM project portfolio. The role combines hands-on leadership with governance to ensure priorities, resources, risks, and dependencies align across a global environment.

You will collaborate with HR, IT leaders, project managers and external vendors to deliver business value, shape decision-making and improve portfolio transparency.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading large-scale IT projects in a global HR context.
• Proven experience in Project Portfolio Management and portfolio governance.
• Strong understanding of HR applications or HR technology landscapes.
• Experience with ServiceNow SPM or similar portfolio management tools.
• Expertise in stakeholder, vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.
• PM certification and advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic HR IT projects from initiation to successful delivery.
• Manage the HR IT project portfolio balancing priorities, risks and resources.
• Drive portfolio planning, budgeting and dependency management.
• Prepare materials and provide portfolio transparency for senior leadership.
• Act as governance liaison for portfolio reviews and approvals.
• Partner with HR, IT and global stakeholders to ensure execution.
• Oversee vendor collaboration and support negotiations for value.
• Champion continuous improvement of portfolio management practices.
