Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager / PMO to lead strategic HR IT initiatives across a global portfolio. You will drive delivery from initiation to value realization, align priorities, resources, risks, and dependencies in a complex environment.

You will collaborate with HR and IT leaders, project managers, and external vendors, shaping decision materials, improving transparency, and elevating project delivery standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing large IT projects in a global environment.
• Proven experience in Project Portfolio Management and portfolio governance.
• Strong understanding of HR applications or HR technology landscapes.
• Experience working with ServiceNow SPM or similar portfolio management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic HR IT projects from initiation to successful delivery.
• Manage the HCM project portfolio, balancing priorities, risks, resources, and business value.
• Drive portfolio planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and dependency management.
• Prepare decision materials and provide portfolio transparency for senior leadership.
• Act as a governance liaison for portfolio reviews, approvals, and steering discussions.
• Partner with HR, IT, and global business stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee vendor collaboration and support negotiations to maximize value and performance.
• Champion continuous improvement of project portfolio management practices and standards.
