Job summary

Nordea in Poland seeks an IT Infrastructure Specialist to support the Commercial Cards application platform. You will own day-to-day IT operations, handle incidents, deployments, monitoring, and security remediation while collaborating with BizDevOps and other teams.

The role is based in Poland (Warsaw or Gdansk) with a hybrid work model. The candidate will engage in platform modernization, ITIL practices, and cross-functional incident management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations or infrastructure with production ownership.
• Strong Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container experience with kubectl and Docker.
• Java app servers knowledge (WebLogic preferred).
• Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD tools.
• Solid ITIL practices for incident, change and problem management.
• Good networking and security fundamentals; TLS, firewalls, SSO.
• Fluent English communication for incidents and updates.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end IT operations for the platform including incidents and changes.
• Lead major incidents with cross-team coordination and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor applications and infra; tune alerts and dashboards.
• Plan production changes and routine maintenance like monthly patches.
• Manage certificates, TLS and remediate security findings.
• Troubleshoot across stacks: logs, apps, databases, and file transfers.
• Maintain runbooks and knowledge base; contribute to migration efforts.
