Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a senior data-focused professional to drive analytics and data engineering within a banking environment. You will translate business needs into robust data and application solutions, working with Snowflake, dbt, and SQL in a hybrid setup across Polish offices.

You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, design data products, and contribute to near real-time pipelines while fostering AI-driven work methods and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, IT Analysis, Data Engineering, or similar analytical roles.
• Proven experience designing data-intensive solutions within complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of requirements elicitation techniques and business analysis methodologies.
• Experience with AI solutions, including Copilot, LLMs, and agentic approaches, with the ability to drive adoption of new ways of working.
• Excellent SQL skills, including Snowflake and MS SQL Server.

• Clarify, document, and translate requirements into implementation specifications with Product Owners.
• Perform data mapping, data modelling, and solution design activities.

Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk / Gdynia / Warszawa / Łódź(2/3 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on building and enhancing data-intensive solutions that support critical business processes within a complex banking environment. The initiative aims to deliver scalable, near real-time data products while improving data accessibility, quality, and decision-making capabilities across the organisation.

You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data and application solutions. The project also embracesAI-driven ways of working, leveraging modern technologies to accelerate delivery and increase automation.

Responsibilities you'll have

Elicit and analyse functional and non-functional requirementsby collaborating with a wide range of business and technology stakeholders

Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to clarify, document, and translate requirements into implementation specifications

Perform data mapping, data modelling, and solution designactivities supporting business and technical objectives

Contribute to application architecture, maintainability, and the design of scalable data solutions

Design and support near real-time data pipelinesand data-driven products

Conduct quantitative data analysis to identify issues, assess impacts, and recommend effective solutions

Collaborate with developers, test engineers, and cross-functional teams throughout the delivery lifecycle

Create and maintain high-quality requirements documentation, including use cases and process descriptions

Access and analyse complex, distributed datasets and perform statistical analysis where required

Build strong stakeholder relationships and facilitation alignment across diverse teams and business domains

Promote analytical excellence by challenging existing approaches, advocating best practices, and driving continuous improvement

Expected competences and knowledge

5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, IT Analysis, Data Engineering, or similar analytical roles

Proven experience designing data-intensive solutionswithin complex enterprise environments

Hands-on experience within the banking or financial services industry

Strong understanding of requirements elicitation techniques and business analysis methodologies

Proven ability to transform business requirements intofunctional and non-functional specifications

Experience withAI solutions, including Copilot, LLMs, and agentic approaches, with the ability to drive adoption of new ways of working

Excellent SQL skills, including experience with Snowflake and MS SQL Server

Experience with Snowflake and dbt in modern data platforms

Knowledge of architectural and engineering practices such as Domain-Driven Design, Event Sourcing, Microservices Architecture, and Clean Code principles

Experience building and scaling data products with a strong focus on enabling data-driven decision-making

Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and facilitation skills
