Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking a senior Data Analyst / IT Analyst to join a data-intensive banking project. You will translate business needs into robust data and application solutions, contributing to near real-time data pipelines and scalable data products.

You will collaborate with product owners and stakeholders, perform data modelling, data mapping, and quantitative analysis, and promote analytical excellence across teams in an international, Scandinavian-inspired environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, IT Analysis, Data Engineering, or similar analytical roles.
• Experience designing data-intensive solutions within complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience in banking or financial services industry.
• Strong requirements elicitation techniques and BA methodologies.
• Experience with AI solutions, Copilot, LLMs, and agentic approaches to drive adoption.
• Excellent SQL skills, including Snowflake and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt in modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, Event Sourcing, Microservices Architecture, and Clean Code principles.
• Experience building and scaling data products with a strong focus on enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyse functional and non-functional requirements by collaborating with a wide range of business and technology stakeholders.
• Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to clarify, document, and translate requirements into implementation specifications.
• Perform data mapping, data modelling, and solution design activities supporting business and technical objectives.
• Contribute to application architecture, maintainability, and the design of scalable data solutions.
• Design and support near real-time data pipelines and data-driven products.
• Conduct quantitative data analysis to identify issues, assess impacts, and recommend effective solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, test engineers, and cross-functional teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Create and maintain high-quality requirements documentation, including use cases and process descriptions.
• Access and analyse complex, distributed datasets and perform statistical analysis where required.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and facilitate alignment across diverse teams and business domains.
• Promote analytical excellence by challenging existing approaches, advocating best practices, and driving continuous improvement.

Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk / Gdynia / Warszawa / Łódż (2/3 days per week from the office)

You will be involved in a financial project focused on building and enhancing data-intensive solutions that support critical business processes within a complex banking environment. The initiative aims to deliver scalable, near real-time data products while improving data accessibility, quality, and decision-making capabilities across the organisation.

Expected competences and knowledge
