Job summary

Arrive is seeking a Senior/Lead IAM Engineer to join our Identity & Access Management team. You will maintain and stabilise a production identity system and help shape a transition to a modern, company-wide IDP across our mobility platform.

You’ll work within Developer Experience, collaborating with product teams to define migration approaches, uphold engineering standards, and mentor others. This role requires 3–5+ years of hands-on engineering in secure IAM environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on programming experience in modern software engineering.
• Familiarity with CIAM concepts — authentication and authorization — in production systems.
• Experience with OpenID Connect and/or SAML is an advantage.
• Track record of making and defending technical decisions, or a clear progression toward doing so.
• Proven ability to own, communicate, and drive technical roadmaps in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and ownership mindset, across product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Keep production IAM system secure, stable, and well-understood.
• Proactive vulnerability management and critical fixes.
• Contribute to or own the technical roadmap for migration to the unified IAM platform.
• Collaborate with product teams to define migration approaches and drive adoption of the new platform.
• Shape engineering standards: code reviews, security practices, architectural consistency.
• Represent the team in cross-functional discussions and articulate trade-offs clearly.
• Share knowledge: documentation, runbooks, onboarding, mentorship.
• Participate in on-call coverage for owned systems.
