Job summary

PwC Polska is expanding its Finance Managed Services team to support domestic and international clients across IFRS and local GAAP, with a focus on General Ledger accounting, month-end close, and process improvement.

The role offers a hybrid work model with 2 days in the office, mentoring and upskilling opportunities, and exposure to diverse projects using SAP/Oracle in a collaborative consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of General Ledger accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP.
• Advanced ERP systems skills (SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing and complex reconciliations.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Professional English in a business setting.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and independent working style.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end General Ledger accounting processes, including complex journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reclassifications.
• Overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Performing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving aged items.
• Acting as a subject matter expert for GL accounting and guiding the team.
• Ensuring IFRS/local GAAP compliance with internal policies.
• Collaborating with auditors during audit processes and system implementations.
