Job summary

PwC Polska is expanding its Finance Managed Services to support domestic and international clients. We seek an Accounting Expert for a project environment to lead end-to-end GL processes, ensure accurate month-end closings, and drive improvements within a collaborative consulting setting.

The role requires 5+ years in GL accounting, IFRS/GAAP knowledge, ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle), and strong English communication. Hybrid work and extensive learning opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• IFRS and local GAAP knowledge required.
• Experience with GL accounting and closing processes.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with complex reconciliations and journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end General Ledger accounting, incl. journal entries, accruals, provisions, reclassifications.
• Ensure accuracy of month-, quarter-, and year-end closes.
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged items.
• Act as SME for GL accounting and guide team and stakeholders.
• Ensure IFRS/local GAAP compliance and internal policies.
• Identify efficiency improvements and drive process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development.
• Participate in system implementations, migrations, or process transitions.
