Job summary

PwC Poland's Finance Managed Services (FMS) team is expanding to support domestic and international clients with end-to-end General Ledger processes. You will oversee month-end close, perform reconciliations, and ensure IFRS/local GAAP compliance while mentoring junior staff.

We expect a 5+ year track record in GL accounting, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English. German is a plus. The role offers a hybrid work model, ongoing development, and a wide range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of General Ledger accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP.
• Advanced ERP proficiency (SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with month-end/year-end closing and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Professional English proficiency in a business setting.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end General Ledger accounting processes with complex entries.
• Overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving aged items.
• Acting as subject matter expert for GL accounting and guiding the team.
• Ensuring IFRS/local GAAP compliance and internal policies.
• Driving process optimization and continuous improvement.
• Collaborating with auditors during audits.
• Mentoring junior team members and supporting development.
• Participating in system implementations, migrations, or transitions.
