Job summary

Bonapolia is seeking a Senior Engineer to design, develop, and maintain risk and governance platforms. You will work on Python/Node.js backends with React front-ends, implement SaaS solutions, and ensure security, performance, and reliability.

Collaboration across distributed teams and global time zones is expected. The role emphasizes architecture design, cloud deployment (AWS), IaC with Terraform, and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python or Node.js backend development experience with practical React knowledge.
• Strong PL/SQL skills.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• AWS (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, EKS, SNS, Secrets Manager, S3, Athena).
• Snowflake and MongoDB.
• Terraform (IaC).
• Performance, scalability, usability, and reliability principles.
• Application security (OWASP Top 10, SAST, DAST, dependency scanning).
• Software architecture and design.
• Event-driven and microservices architectures.
• pytest and Jest / React Testing Library.
• Test-Driven Development.
• Version control and collaboration tools.
• GenAI-assisted development tools.
• Monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience implementing SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Python, Node.js, and React.
