Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior Software Architect to transform a core system into a scalable microservices architecture. You will lead global collaborations to design cloud-native solutions, primarily in Java, with Go and Python influences across a modern stack including Kubernetes and AWS/GCP.

You will mentor engineers, shape engineering practices, and work across product, design, and infrastructure to deliver high-impact, scalable software for a SaaS platform.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with architecture of large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience leading transition from monolithic to cloud-native microservices.
• Proficiency in Java (primary) and Go; Python is a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Strong communication skills to influence engineering direction across teams.
• Curiosity and problem-solving for high-impact assignments.
• Experience leveraging agentic engineering tools and LLMs across SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Dive into the current monolithic architecture and design iterative improvements.
• Lead design and development of a scalable microservices architecture.
• Collaborate to evaluate tools, frameworks, and methodologies for a robust ecosystem.
• Develop POCs and prototypes, perform code reviews, deliver production-grade code (Java).
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence and collaboration.
• Coordinate with global teams and leadership on objectives and timelines.
• Contribute to multi-tenant, cloud-native solutions with scalable services.
