Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a skilled full-stack developer to design, build, and maintain web applications. You will work with React and Python, and collaborate with design, QA, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include deploying on AWS, optimizing databases, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and improving code quality through reviews. Independent ownership and strong communication are valued. We encourage attention to detail and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• React.js and Python (70/30 split)
• 4+ years of full-stack development experience
• Strong experience with React.js (Hooks, Context, state management)
• Strong experience with Python
• Database design and optimization skills
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS / DynamoDB, CloudWatch, CloudFormation
• Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities - important
• Ability to work independently and take ownership - important
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications
• Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures
• Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems
• Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (designers, QA, product managers)
• Working with AWS services to deploy, scale, and manage applications
