Job summary

Tate & Lyle Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź seeks a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist for Transportation/Freight. You will ensure accurate, timely freight invoice processing, collaborate with Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance, and support complex issue resolution within SAP/process controls.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of freight operations, carrier billing logic, and strong cross-functional coordination to meet KPIs and audit standards.

Qualifications

• Specialized AP role requiring strong understanding of freight operations and carrier billing logic.
• Experience with SAP/process controls and cross-functional issue resolution.
• Attention to internal controls and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end processing of transportation and freight invoices, including validation, coding, matching, approval routing, and payment readiness.
• Review freight charges against contracts, POs, shipment data, and supporting docs.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, duplicate billing, missing docs, rate mismatches, and carrier disputes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax rules, and accounting policies.
