Docplanner is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Booking & Availability engineering team, driving AI-native software in a fast-growing healthcare tech platform. You will work closely with Product and Design to deliver reliable scheduling, optimize calendar workflows, and ensure scalable architecture across multiple markets.

You will mentor engineers, hire for growth, and own the team’s performance while balancing fast experimentation with solid foundations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years leading engineering teams in product companies.
• Experience driving platform or shared components across teams.
• Hands-on with AI-enabled coding, reviews and refactoring.

Responsibilities

• Own performance management for your team; set expectations and provide feedback.
• Level up engineers through coaching, pairing, and growth plans.
• Hire and shape a growing sub-area team; balance decisions and autonomy.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to invest in foundations and fast experiments.
• Stay hands-on in code; prototype, implement features, and improve architecture.
• Maintain high reliability of the scheduling engine and data integrity.
