Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Embedded QA / IoT Testing Engineer to join our initiative focusing on testing a Linux-based embedded platform and its ecosystem. You will shape test strategies, plan QA activities, and lead efforts across hardware/software integration to ensure reliability.

You will drive automated and system tests for embedded/IoT devices, mentor engineers, and collaborate with international teams on cutting-edge multimedia IoT projects.

Qualifications

Strong experience in embedded hardware/software and IoT device testing.
Ability to define test strategies and write comprehensive test plans.
Leadership to drive QA initiatives and mentor engineers.
Experience with Linux-based embedded devices from development or testing perspective.
Solid Python scripting for test automation.
Proficiency in Linux shell and Bash scripting.

Responsibilities

Drive QA initiatives and lead test strategy for the embedded platform.
Design and deploy automated and system tests for embedded/IoT devices.
Design and execute test automation for Linux system software and applications under development.
Perform embedded system performance monitoring and stability testing under load and stress conditions.
Monitor hardware and software subsystems for memory leaks, crashes, or performance bottlenecks.
Identify, isolate, log, and track embedded system defects and integration issues.
