Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer specializing in C++, Qt, and QML to develop and refine software for home appliances and automation. You will design, implement, and optimize UI-rich components and ensure high performance across cross‑platform targets.

You will collaborate with hardware, product, and design teams to drive feature development, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers while contributing to robust system architecture and long-term

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in C++ including modern standards and OO design.
• Strong expertise in Qt for UI, events, cross‑platform architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of QML for dynamic, responsive UIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust software solutions using C++, Qt, and QML for embedded systems in home appliances and automation.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces and application logic with focus on performance and UX.
• Contribute to architectural design of new features ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Lead technical implementation of complex modules with adherence to coding standards.
• Optimize existing C++/Qt/QML codebases for efficiency and maintainability.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers in C++, Qt, and QML.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across UI to backend logic.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers to refine technical requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration of software components into overall architecture.
