Job summary

TFS HealthScience is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development for DIID (Dermatology, Immunology & Inflammatory Diseases), home based in the UK, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands or Italy.

You will lead the business development strategy, coordinate BD staff activities, and drive client retention in assigned accounts. A strong DIID network is highly desirable, with travel to client meetings and industry events expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or highly relevant industry experience.
• Seven years of clinical research and/or sales experience.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and coordinate strategic plans and sales strategies within a territory or accounts.
• Meet annual sales goals and objectives.
• Coordinate and respond to RFIs/RFPs with internal teams.
• Prepare sponsor presentations and lead client meetings.
• Monitor budgets, costs and contract negotiations post-award.
• Develop account strategies and expand through existing accounts.
• Mentor junior team members and report to senior management.
