Job summary

TFS HealthScience is a leading global mid-size CRO delivering full-service capabilities and flexible resourcing solutions. We are seeking a Senior Director Business Development for DIID to drive strategic sales and client retention across international markets.

The successful candidate will lead the development of opportunities, coordinate responses to RFIs/RFPs, and guide the team to achieve revenue goals while maintaining strong sponsor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or highly relevant industry experience.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of clinical research and/or sales experience.
• Considerable sales experience of more than 5 years with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities for multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a results focus.
• Solid knowledge of CRO business and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, coordinate and develop strategic plans within a territory or accounts.
• Meet annual sales goals and objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Coordinate and monitor budget and contract negotiations post award.
• Establish and maintain client rapport and sponsor communications.
• Represent the team at sponsor presentations and industry events.
• Lead proposals and input for RFI responses and opportunity development.
• Mentor junior team members where appropriate.
