AgileEngine is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to modernize, migrate, and maintain reliable data-platform infrastructure across cloud environments. This role focuses on building scalable pipelines and ensuring secure, compliant access for data consumers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of senior-level experience in production data-platform engineering, deep Python/Bash/SQL skills, and hands-on AWS, Snowflake, and Kafka/Confluent expertise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of senior-level, hands-on production data-platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python, Bash and SQL skills.
• Production experience with Snowflake and Confluent/Kafka, AWS.
• DevOps-focused with secure access and troubleshooting expertise.
• Upper-intermediate English

Responsibilities

• Migrate infrastructure and data-platform workloads to new infrastructure.
• Move data-platform workloads to AWS us-east-2 with prerequisites.
• Ensure secure, governed data access for consumers and downstream systems.
• Modernize architecture, tooling, orchestration, storage, and practices.
• Support Snowflake, Confluent/Kafka, AWS migrations and operations.
• Participate in incident response, documentation, and runbook creation.
• Use Terraform/IaC and GitLab to deliver auditable changes.
